Blood Flow Restriction Training and Parkinson's Disease

This research article is the first one to study functional outcomes with Blood Flow Restriction Training and Parkinson's Disease. The outcomes for this study were positive, showing beneficial effects of BFR for the Timed-Up-and-Go (TUG), sit-to-stand, and 6 minute walk test. Researchers concluded that further research with BFR for those with neurological disorders. BFR may help maintain function in those with neurological disorders.
